August 31, 2003 12:08 PM XHTML is Valid

All the pages on this site right now are valid XHTML 1.0 Strict. This probably doesn't mean much to most anyone, but it makes me feel good inside. I'm having trouble validating my CSS, though I am most certain it is correct.

That said, there are still some problems with the site layout that need to be fixed. To see what I mean, check out the pipe dreams page.

August 30, 2003 05:32 PM CSS and XHTML

I have made this site using CSS and XHTML. That said, my XHTML is still not 100% correct. (For example, I'm missing alt-names for my images.) I'll fix all of these problems shortly. I don't think this should effect anyone viewing the page, unless you're using a very anal web browser.

August 30, 2003 03:53 PM Blog you say?

My photo site is down for the time being. I don't have the webspace needed to leave it up. (It was also a pain to update and maintain.) I mocked up a version of the site that runs off my ibook using php and mysql. Unfortunatly finding free webspace that will let you use php and mysql is hard. I miss the days where freedom 2 surf was one such place.

This page will replace my old homepage at the university of waterloo. That page served me well for many years, but I thought it was time for something new.

I don't know how frequently I will update this. I guess it depends on how exciting my next term at waterloo is.

Me: guy. i see so many pretty girls on the subway ride downtown. always one solid girl on the train.
Gary : that's not a story man, give it up
Me: it is a story guy.
Gary: no, stories usually have more than one line. that was a statement at best.
